Our club is lively and fun. We have events once a month like cosplay cafe, Studio Ghibli night, etc. During a normal meeting we watch an episode of different animes’, play kahoot, and plan events.

Our club just got started and the first session will be tomorrow at 3 PM. We plan to have fun activities like cosplay and drawing anime. We’ll also watch some of our favorite anime shows and read/discuss manga. There will be more fun activities provided along with food and drinks for everyone who attends.

We watch mostly dubbed anime rated TV-14 or under, and we have snacks like popcorn or ramen. No one has come in cosplay, although that would not be prohibited. We play Google Slide Quizzes, Bingo, and other activities like Would You Rather and Kiss Marry Kill. During the show, club-goers are welcome to do anime-related crosswords, word searches, or papercrafts.
We meet in the library meeting room every other Monday from 3:30-5:00 pm during the school year. In the summer, we meet from 3:00-5:00 pm. Flyers and newsletters inside the library always have the exact club dates, as Mondays are shared with a Gaming club.”

NCC’s Anime Culture Club is a place for anyone interested in otaku culture to discuss and watch anime. We have cosplayers and students interested in cosplay, which we hope to implement in our weekly meetings. This year, we’re mainly focused on planning con trips as well as on-campus parties. We also hope to take trips to the nearby Round1 and to Mitsuwa Marketplace in Arlington Heights.
